THE DESIGN CALLED FOR A STREET FRONT DEVELOPMENT WITH REAR CAR PARKING ACCESSED THROUGH A CENTRAL PEND.

IT WAS ESSENTIAL THAT THE HEIGHT OF THE FLATS DID NOT OVERSHADOW NEIGHBOURING PROPERTIES THIS WAS ACHIEVED THROUGH BREAKING UP THE FAƇADE AND ROOF MASS BY USE OF A DOUBLE HEIGHT ENTRANCE WAY AND EXTENSIVE USE OF THE ROOF SPACE FOR THE UPPER FLOOR FLATS.
